tevie is recognised for her on-camera work on several well-known television series. By the time Stevie was 19, she had sung and danced her way across eastern Canada with The Charlottetown Festival and graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. At age 20, while fronting her own band in LA, a CBS executive saw her and offered her the role of recording artist, Sylvie, on the long-running series, Knots Landing.
Over the next 16 years Stevie played leading roles on such shows as Road To Avonlea, Three Men & A Baby and Slam Dunk Ernest, The Ropers, Bosom Buddies, Lou Grant and LA Law. She also co-starred alongside Ben Vereen, as Whazzat Kangaroo, in the Hallmark series Zoobilee Zoo, while at the same time commuting to Toronto, to play Det. Stevie, in the CBS series Night Heat. It was during this time Stevie earned the moniker 'Cartoon Queen', for her prolific work infusing life and personality into characters on thousands of animated productions including Reboot, Inspector Gadget, Carebears, Donkey Kong, Dennis the Menace, Inayasha and Bakugan. See Animation Voice Acting
In 2002, she received an Emmy Award for voice-directing the dialogue and music on 70 episodes of the Disney television series, Madeline, upon which she also voiced Miss Clavel and Genevive.
For six years Stevie portrayed the legendary country singer, Patsy Cline in a one-woman show that toured western Canada and opened for the Calgary Stampede in 99.
She then went on to produce the critically acclaimed jazz concert series DIVAS FOR LIFE, which packed Vancouver's Vogue Theatre 2 years in a row and raised $70,000 for people living with life threatening illness. DIVAS FOR LIFE.COM
